2011 represents the third anniversary of the Global Retail CIO Survey. First released in 2009,
the survey delivers up to the minute insight into how retailers globally have and will shape
their technology strategies in the face of current economic and market pressures.
The research incorporates the views of retailers whose combined sales represent $555 billion
and more than 117,000 stores. This equates to 8% of the total retail market in the Americas
and Europe by sales.
